The world’s biggest onion is now of 18lb 11oz
The world’s largest onion is quite bigger than we generally think because it weighs around 18lb 11oz.

According to the report, the largest onion has been grown by the farmer, Tony Glover, from Moira in Leicestershire, which picked the new Guinness world record for the largest and heaviest onion.
In a talk with local media, farmer Tony said that he had provided nitrogen rich foods to the onion along with checking the correct humidity for the plant.
He added that it took almost one year to be fully grown onion.
When he was asked about his farming career, he said that he has been doing farming since the age of 16.
