Tennessee Titans Rumors: Terrance West Trade From Browns Provides Depth For
The Titans got West cheap, considering that he was a day two pick in 2014, and he has the potential to improve upon his solid rookie season if he can earn playing time in Tennessee.

West will now battle with Bishop Sankey and David Cobb for carries in Tennessee’s backfield.
It’s uncertain what West’s role will be for the Titans entering their week one matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday.
As a running back with sub-4.5 speed, below-average agility, mediocre quickness, subpar work on third downs, and fumbling issues, West had to be efficient as a rookie.
West led them in rushing last year (allowing them to chase off a productive but grumbly veteran in Ben Tate), but that never translated into this year, when West had to play most of the preseason finale with the scrubs.
Even though Terrance West was ineffective for the Browns last season and caused them headaches, there’s a chance he could prove to be serviceable for the Titans in 2015. But that didn’t stop the Browns from unloading West for nearly nothing just seven days before the big game. While each player has taken their turn receiving plaudits as well as demerits from the Cleveland coaching staff, it seems we may finally know who is going to take the reins of the Browns running game.
Via Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns had grown tired of West’s “inconsistency on the field and immaturity off of it”.
With Farmer’s four-game cessation initiating Monday, Sunday appeared to are the last sensible date than a trade often happen for West, when the stories of his retreat have been to be accurate. Draughn will likely start out on the practice squad and get elevated if necessary.
If the Browns need another backup for the Jets game, they might be able to re-sign Thad Lewis, who was cut Saturday.
“Yeah, I would say Crow has an edge, ” said Pettine, via Cabot.

This year’s preseason showed the team nothing to prove that he had gotten better.
