A nine year old brave kid died just because he jumped into weir to save his one mate from drowning.

According to the report, the kid, Kai Lambe was playing on the bank of River Dove in Tutbury, Staffordshire, when he saw his one mate, Connor, struggling for his life against the high waves.
He without thinking anything jumped into the waves to save him – even he was a poor swimmer – but unfortunately he got stuck into the waves while his friend made a quick way out.
A witness when saw the Kai fighting against waves, immediately called the police but the Derbyshire force who received the emergency call transferred it to Staffordshire because the incident was in the neighboring county, meaning precious time was lost.
