Manchester United keeper makes candid admission over transfer difficulty
Man United boss Louis Van Gaal is facing increasing criticism, and it has led to questions in some circles as to whether he is the right man for the job.

Van Gaal has continually stressed that his side need time to gel, yet with the looming high-end clash against Liverpool this weekend, Shearer feels he can not make that excuse anymore.
Alan Shearer has criticised Louis van Gaal for his “dull” and “functional” football at Manchester United.
A successful-looking transfer window which saw the early purchases of Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin ended with the signing of Martial and the failure to bolster the centre of defence.
Pereira’s showings in the Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand and in United’s preseason friendlies helped him turn the Dutch manager’s head over the summer, enough that he was rewarded with a place on the Old Trafford club’s star-studded roster, and a path toward playing time, for the 2014-15 season.
United have failed to convince in the Premier League this season.
Writing in The Sun, he said: “I would argue Louis van Gaal can not even afford to draw it.
He has been asking for more time for his team to blend, for young players to develop etc. Time is up I’m afraid, the time is now”.
The United manager spent over £100m on new signings in the summer transfer window in a bid to close the gap on Chelsea and Manchester City, including Anthony Martial in a £36m deal. “But if you go back to the end of last season Van Gaal’s league run over the last 10 games now stands at three wins, three draws and four defeats”.
“He has started Adnan Januzaj in four games this season – and then shipped him out”.

But the 29-year-old scored for England in the 6-0 win over San Marino to match Sir Bobby Charlton’s all-time Three Lions record of 49 global goals, and McIlroy is hoping Rooney can start finding the net for United. “He tells Javier Hernandez he has another chance and then sells him”, Shearer stated.
