The 2017 Cadillac XT5 Is The New SRX
General Motors has released a few official pictures of the forthcoming Cadillac XT5, due to make its formal debut next month in Dubai.

The all-new vehicle retains numerous design elements of the SRX – including its tailfin-shaped brake lights, blunt front fascia, and steep side character lines – while adding the brand’s signature vertical LED running lights and a more upscale look, overall.
The automaker took the wraps off of the XT5 at a fashion event Wednesday in New York City. Designers Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow are making an XT5-inspired “Pre-Fall” capsule collection to show then, which will coincide with the Dubai Auto Show.
Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell told Edmunds that shoppers should expect an XT5 price tag “in the 40s”.
Cadillac also used the XT5 to showcase a new fashion partnership with Public School, according to AdAge, which will use the vehicle as inspiration for a new line. “For Cadillac, it gives new meaning to being a patron of the arts”.
And like the SRX it’s about to replace, the crossover will straddle the gap between the small and mid-size offerings of rival brands.
So far there’s not much else to go on for specs or details.
The SRX replacement will be called an XT5 and will be going on sale next year, as a 2017 model.
