“We would like to thank our fans and partners for their ongoing support of PlayStation and for making PS4 the top-selling console and No. 1 in software sales in North America in August”. From September 9 to September 14, the Sony PlayStation birthday sale will be going on, offering tons of content at a low, low price of up to 70% off.
Some of us might wonder when all that time passed since Sony celebrates 20 years of PlayStation with discounts, and better reminds us that it was two decades ago that the gaming platform first made its way onto the markets of North America.
PlayStation has released a new ad ahead of the 20th anniversary of its first console.
Here’s the good news: the sale covers all of PlayStation’s range of consoles, from PS4, PS3, PS Vita, PSP, and PS Classics.
PlayStation 4 owners in the United States will have a different set of deals than those in Europe. Check out the full lineup on their store.
However, Layden did add that the election isn’t the only incoming fan activity: a PlayStation trivia quiz and video unboxing of the 20-year-old system will also be shown in the coming weeks.

A Sony PlayStation video game logo is seen at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, in Los Angeles, California, United States, June 17, 2015. But anyone that spends the time to read up or, you know, actually play the console to get an informed choice seem to only be people more on the hardcore side.
