Although it sounds unbelievable, Marvel plans on dedicating a special Christmas comic book to Gwenpool, aka Gwen Stacey as Deadpool. Don’t miss her exciting debut and origin in the HOWARD THE DUCK #1 – #3beginning this November and pick up GWENPOOL SPECIAL #1 this December!

After being a one-off creation for a Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars #2 variant cover by Chris Bachalo, the mash-up character Gwenpool is getting a chance as a solo star this fall. Then she became every Marvel Superhero ever in a series of variant covers.
Beginning in November, Gwenpool will be the subject of backup stories in Howard the Duck #1-3, with scripts by Christopher Hastings (The Adventures of Dr. McNinja) and art by relative newcomer Danilo Beyruth. Others lamented that Ladypool had yet to get her own comic despite having been around longer. From the summary of her Howard the Duck appearance and the new series from Marvel: A stranger in a unusual land, she’ll enlist the aid of someone who knows a thing or two about being from an alternate universe – Howard the Duck! They’ll be showing us how Gwenpool arrives in the new Marvel Universe and why she wants Howard to be her guide. It’s not about Spider-Gwen anymore, it’s all about Gwenpool.

First, the Gwen Stacy from another dimension makes her Marvel U debut in a story written by Christopher Hastings and illustrated by Danilo Beyruth. “She’s real, and she’s making landfall in the Marvel Universe this November!” In this issue, She-Hulk throws a party and invites the entire Marvel Universe.
