In the past, Simpson said she has managed to outsell big name fashion designers because she understands how the average woman thinks. The businesswoman answered that for some reasons she thought it was her first marriage.

Simpson famously declared that she was a virgin until her marriage to Lachey, 41, formerly a member of boy band 98 Degrees.

Remember when Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were the first couple of reality television, on noughties hit TV show Newlyweds?

“I would have a panic attack”, she said of the show that ran from 2003 to 2005.

Jessica Simpson may be a billionaire from her fashion business but that does not mean that she has not made any blunders in the past.

“I wouldn’t say it’s friends and I wouldn’t say it’s enemies – there is just no contact, we both moved on with our lives. It’s not animosity, it’s not friendship – it’s just kind of nothing”, Lachey said on Dirty, Sexy, amusing with Jenny McCarthy. We’ve been together 16 years now. The law required them to divide their income equally but TMZ reported at that time that Lachey settled for “considerably less” than half of their combined earnings to avoid any court battle.

Meanwhile, Lachey, 41, has two children, Camden John, 2, and 8-month-old daughter Brooklyn Elisabeth, with wife Vanessa, while Simpson has two kids with Johnson Maxwell, 3, and Ace, 2. We have made really great investments and haven’t had many mistakes. “Even Eric, my husband, I recorded a Christmas album with him but he’s never really seen me on stage and do my thing that actually got me here now”, she confessed.
