Promising Lead in Illinois Officer’s Slaying Comes up Empty

Meanwhile, the Fox Lake police department is conducting an internal investigation after the retirement of Chief Michael Behan just three days before the killing. However, later Thursday, the Chicago Tribune reported Rudd said the fatal wound was to Gliniewicz’s torso.
