Ubisoft Reveals Assassin’s Creed Council
That particular project is Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the French publisher has revealed. Wintory is among the very few in the industry to have earned themselves a Grammy nomination for their work in a video game, as Journey was nominated for Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media.

Assassin’s Creed Council is a one-stop-shop for all things Creed, from behind the scenes footage, to news and updates directly from Producers giving fans first access to information about the series.
Ubisoft claims that the end result is a unifying musical theme that permeates Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, adding deeper shades of gray to a morally ambiguous setting and cast of characters. I’m a huge fan of Kyd’s score, but the new players have proven that they can dish out some intense and captivating music. The mid-19th Century served as a valuable source of inspiration for Wintory and he went on to describe his passion for the music of the 19th Century. That means you’ll get some authentic folk music and hymns.
Membership to the Council is free and you can sign up right here. Yet, because of its intimacy it can also sneak up on you in ways a lumbering orchestra can’t.
Ubisoft will soon release this year’s installment of Assassin’s Creed that will take users to London.

The video description notes that Wintory aimed “not just to capture the drama and excitement of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, but to evoke the prowess and sarcasm of the game’s main characters, Jacob and Evie Frye”. The PC version is due on November 19.
