Man called emergency service because his wife was refusing to give him remote
This would definitely be height of dumbest thing – as a man called emergency services just because his wife was refusing to hand over the remote.

According to the report, the emergency service had received a call from the unnamed man on account that his wife wasn’t giving him the TV remote.
Calming himself– the emergency services officer replied that this wasn’t any emergency issue.
Later, a spokesman from the emergency services said that they receives almost of 700,000 prank call (unnecessary call) each year.
He added “We regularly get calls from people asking to be taken home as they have no money for a taxi”.
