Entourage’s Adrian Grenier slammed for ‘disrespectful’ 9/11 tribute as fans

The post, which has since been deleted, said: “R.I.P. the 2,996 Americans who died in 9/11”.
The “Entourage” star posted a photograph of New York’s World Trade Center on Instagram.com on Friday to mark the 2001 atrocity, in which the Twin Towers were destroyed and nearly 3,000 people died.
Fans have since lashed out at the 39-year-old, branding him as “disrespectful” and threatening to boycott his movies.
While the image was taken down not long after, Grenier didn’t delete his tweet calling attention to the image. Scumbag”, one person wrote, with another adding, “As smart as you think you are… “Today was not the day”, one (most likely former) follower wrote. “Today is their day”, posted a detractor.
Among them was a tribute that read: ‘In challenging moments and times of mourning, we must seek perspective to help us find peace within our choices forward.

Grenier doesn’t comment on politics often, but Fox News notes that he is an outspoken environmentalist who recently criticized GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump over his position on global warming.
