Considering all of the hype surrounding the rose gold iPhone, this may leave some Apple fans without the exact iPhone 6S they were wanting on day one.

Apple just announced the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, to much fanfare. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s new iPhone 6S launch to boost its device sales and thereby add connections. On T-Mobile, the price is $849.91. For an iPhone 6S Plus, users will pay $36.58 per month.

However, it should be advised that the deal is a lease, not a purchase. For example, if you deep press the Camera app icon, it brings up several actions, such as “take selfie”.

Carriers like AT&T Inc. That’s a nice saving over the 6s’ suggested $649 retail price. After exchanging your current iPhone for a new one, you will start the whole process over again until following year.

Verizon is offering the 6S for $24.08 a month or $31.24 month for the 6S plus. T-Mobile is offering $32.41 monthly starting fee for the entry level iPhone 6s which the customer can use with any carrier of their choice. (You can find more details on the company’s new iPhone Upgrade Program on its website.) Apple usually refreshes its phones in the early fall, so if you buy right now, you’ll be able to upgrade to the iPhone 7 next September. Anytime after that, it’ll unlock your iPhone so you can shop around for other carriers. In theory, the benefit to paying the full cost of your phone up front is that you can opt for cheaper monthly plans, and move from carrier to carrier more easily if needed.

That doesn’t seem to have dissuaded some people, as Apple fans are ALREADY queuing up to be the first to get their hands on the new phone.
