Caitlyn Jenner Kisses Kris After Making Up on ‘I Am Cait’

Shortly after Caitlyn (formerly known as Bruce) and Kris broke up, there were reports that the former couple were not a fan of each other. Though there were plenty of guests, Caitlyn’s family was visibly absent from the event and that was actually by Caitlyn’s design!

Considering Jenner’s efforts to advocate for other transexual people and her placement in the LGBTQ community, Degeneres was not impressed by the answer she got. She showed little empathy for her ex, often interrupting Kris instead of hearing what she had to say, and occasionally showing outright hostility.

I Am Cait continues tonight an all new Sunday, September 13 season 1 episode 8, called “A New Beginning.”

Since then, Cayne has kept busy working on shows such as Nip/Tuck, Drop Dead Diva, and Elementary, on which she recurs as Ms. Hudson, all before landing her breakthrough role on I Am Cait. She asks her friend to sing at her ceremony, a request which is reluctantly agreed to. But Kris not inviting Caitlyn to Kylie’s “graduation” (which was really just a glorified party with a cap and gown, but still) seems unnecessarily harsh, especially when Kris basically admits that she’s not upset about how Caitlyn treated her when they were married, she’s upset about how Caitlyn’s talking about their marriage now. She decides to have a name-changing ceremony.

Caitlyn’s assistant Rhonda and hair stylist Courtney cheered in the audience, but her six children, four stepchildren and ex-wives were mysteriously absent. However, when Caitlyn suggested that the two go shopping, Kris interrupted him/her by saying that they shouldn’t get carried away.

During the readings, Chandi said: “I can’t think of a time ever that I’ve so celebrated being trans”.

“But my sister is a genius at marketing so she’s very good at hiding her feelings”.

Properly, Caitlyn is obvious: she stands by what she’s stated.

This was a bit of an anti-climax as far as finales are concerned, but overall I enjoyed I Am Cait a lot and I’d be interested in a second season. “But I also understand it takes some getting used to”, Jenner pens. Both Jenny and another breakout star, Chandi Moore, speak first giving all the love to Cait. “You know, it’s a process”, Jenner said. Caitlyn narrates that one of the hardest parts of this for her has been her family’s grief over this.

“The last few months for me have been the most awesome months of my life“, Caitlyn said tearfully. I want to help each of you understand something that I only recently embraced: Being different is okay – in fact, it’s great!
