Donald Trump Will Be A ‘Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ Guest
If the first few episodes of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” are any indication, these worries can be put to rest. Jeb Bush guested on The Late Show premiere instead.

These two have some work to do before they become late-night’s new dynamic duo. (“It’s actually pretty good“, he sighed.) Nor was he afraid to toe the Trump line, firing off clips of The Donald while simultaneously parodying the media’s fascination of him by literally choking back Oreos.
Although he does not often discuss it, Colbert regularly attends Mass and teaches Sunday school at his church in New Jersey.
Interestingly, Colbert also doesn’t seem to share the stage with a sidekick in the way that David Letterman did with bandleader Paul Shaffer, or Conan O’Brien did with announcer Andy Richter.
Colbert, opening his second program on Wednesday night, said that a combination of an overstuffed show that needed to be edited and a technical glitch temporarily prevented producers from sending the finished product to the network. He’s known for his searing political commentary and off-the-wall humor. Stephen Colbert’s “The Late Show“, meanwhile, saw an uptick on its third night thanks to an emotional appearance by Vice President Joe Biden.
Colbert may not be hosting a political spoof show anymore, but he’s still booking a lot of guests who are in politics.
“You can be friends with people [with whom] you don’t agree with on everything”, the former Florida Gov. and Republican presidential aspirant told Colbert, who seemed to find his stride in the interview.
Even in the aesthetics of “Late Show“, Colbert has built something of his own.
