Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
The all-new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio made its public debut at the Frankfurt worldwide Motor Show. Nevertheless, assuming the lap time is accurate, that makes the Giulia QV nine seconds faster than the quickest lap set by the BMW M4 coupe around the same circuit.

Under the bonnet of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, is an all-aluminium, 2.9-litre turbo petrol V6 engine, inspired by Ferrari technology and expertise, which produces 510PS and 600Nm of torque, resulting in a top speed of 307kph and a 0-100kph time of just 3.9 seconds. That gives it a slight edge over the BMW M3 saloon, which emits 204g/km and officially averages 32.1mpg. It will eventually underpin most of Alfa Romeo’s upcoming lineup.
The same attention to detail has been lavished on the interior of the new Alfa Romeo Giulia, offering the best in terms of quality, safety, equipment and comfort.
Channelling all the power and torque to the road efficiently is a rear multi-link suspension that features a rear differential with torque vectoring capability.
Other variants of the Giulia are yet to be revealed, however according to Alfa Romeo’s chief operating officer of Europe, Africa and Middle East, Alfredo Altavilla, they will also encompass the essence of the brand and offer leading performance levels.
Keeping weight down, and helping maintain an optimal 50:50 weight distribution, the small super fast sports sedan has a carbon-fibre bonnet, prop shaft and roof panel. Add on carbon ceramic brakes and carbon fiber seats though and the price tage jumps to 95,000 Euros. The various modes include Dynamic, Natural, Advanced Efficiency and Race. Tamer Giulias will come with four-cylinder engines, including both gasoline and diesel units.
The Connect 3D Nav of Alfa Romeo Giulia – also developed with Magneti Marelli – offers a sophisticated series of features and functions, including a next-generation HMI human-machine interface.
