The design of the new tablet is similar to what we’ve seen in the past, so there’s no need to remind you that the device is build of an anodized aluminum material.

Recently, another unannounced tablet from Samsung with a massive 18.4-inch screen had been spotted on the Indian import/export website Zauba, although there have been no details about the slate since then.

We were expecting much fanfare, fireworks in the sky and a lot hysteria about the launch of the iPad Mini 4, but Apple focused more on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, while the tablet was less important, because at the event which took place on September 9, we heard only a few things about it. “After all, with a rumored screen size of 18.4”, the T670 (or Galaxy View) would be a niche device at best.

Featuring sharp, vivid displays, fast processor and noticeably slim profiles, both Samsung tablets are seen as direct competitors to Apple’s iPad Air 2 and the smaller iPad Mini 3.

Now, it seems that the View’s market release might be just around the corner, as the tablet appears to have been certified by Bluetooth SIG. According to reports from August, the tablet sports an 18.4-inch display and is now code named Tahoe but may launch as the Galaxy View, a name Samsung has already confirmed for an upcoming tablet. The device will be powered by an Exynos 7580 octa-core 64-bit processor, paired with 2 GB of RAM.

Based on previous speculations, Samsung’s new tablet will feature a 12 inch screen with a 4K resolution (3840 x 2400 pixels) display or a 2K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels). They also offer the same camera specifications; 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus at the back and 2.1-megapixel in front. Samsung said that there will also be WiFi-only and LTE variants but it is up to the telecom companies to release their individual pricing and availability. Internal storage specifications stand at 32GB, with Micro SD expansion also rumored to be on play. However it does list the model number which seems to be in line with what we have been hearing about, so chances are it is the same tablet.
