Modi to visit Facebook headquarters on September 27

Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg on Sunday invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the organisation’s headquarters in Paolo Alto, US, on September 27, for a Town Hall meeting.

Modi was elected India’s leader past year on promises to revive the country’s economy and make India more business friendly.

On September 28, the day after he visits Facebook, Modi will sit for his third bilateral summit with U.S. President Barack Obama in New York City.

Followers are likely unsurprised by Modi’s meeting with Zuckerberg after the prime minister unveiled his Digital India initiative in early July.

The live video of the session will be available on Zuckerberg’s Facebook page and also on PM Modi’s official page in the social media website. Inviting questions, Modi said, “This programme will be incomplete without your participation!”
