As noted in Nvidia’s FAQ, GameStream Co-op is designed for DirectX 9 games or higher, and only works if a game runs in full screen mode. This particular beta will enable one to enjoy new tools that lets you share your game with friends, where it also comes with an in-game overlay which enables one to access video capture alongside Twitch streaming, built-in YouTube uploads, as well as GameStream Co-Op (which has seen some features released earlier).

According to the company, friends can watch you play a PC game in a 1:1 stream.

GeForce Experience still offers the other features as before, including the optimised graphics settings for your card for over 250 games.

There’s even an integrated gallery and a simple editor that you can use in the overlay and upload the footage straight to YouTube.

NVidia uses ShadowPlay and the on-die encoder to process video streaming efficiently, something we’ve objectively analyzed against competing video capture/stream solutions. This overlay can be accessed by typing Alt+Z in the game or on the Windows desktop. The guest PC will need to meet the same hardware specs save for the GPU, which doesn’t have a minimum requirement.

If you want to join the beta, you should be able to download the update through GeForce Experience from now. Today GeForce evolves once more with the new beta software that provides its players with integrated streaming and an internet-based cooperative play.
