Immediately, the cell phone carriers stepped up their game, offering their own options to compete with Apple’s.

Apple iPhone 6s 6s Plus: Apple announced its latest smartphones, the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus on 9th September.

T-Mobile just shot the opening salvo of the Great iPhone Pricing War. The best part? You can replace them with newer iPhones once a year.

Sprint stats that all colors and memory options of the smaller model are available to deliver on the iPhone 6s release date, but the iPhone 6s Plus deliveries from Sprint are as far out as four weeks. Users also have to be out of their AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile subscriptions. You pay this every month forever, and every year, you can walk into an Apple Store and upgrade to the latest iPhone.

If you’re planning to purchase the iPhone 6S device from the Telstra carrier, you will need to sign a two-year contract and you will need to pay 87 dollars per month for the 16GB variant of the device.

US Cellular said the 16 GB phones will sell from USD 32.45 a month and USD 37.45 a month, in 20 instalments, or for USD 199 and USD 299, respectively, on a two-year contract. In theory, the benefit to paying the full cost of your phone up front is that you can opt for cheaper monthly plans, and move from carrier to carrier more easily if needed.

Verizon and AT&T aren’t offering any substantial deals on their installment plans. At the 12 month mark, you can return your phone for a new one, likely the “iPhone 7″.

With Apple’s new iPhone Upgrade program, customers will be able to lease or purchase a new phone directly from Apple. Anytime after that, it’ll unlock your iPhone so you can shop around for other carriers. That’s a nice saving over the 6s’ suggested $649 retail price.

Shipping time often get delayed minutes after new Apple products go on sale, and although this is an “S” phone, demand is still expected to be high for launch day.
