The transaction was disclosed in a document filed with the SEC, which is available through this hyperlink. The .99 Fire TV, which will ship on Oct. 5, is 75% more powerful than its predecessor thanks to a new quad-core processor from MediaTek, according to Amazon. To read about the new Fire TV, visit www.amazon.com/fire-tv-pr. “The new Fire TV includes 4K support, more processing power, great selection, and exclusive features-for less than £80”.
The new Amazon Fire TV is built to support High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC).

Up to 128GB of expandable storage via microSD – enjoy even more videos, music, games, and photos while offline. I certainly wouldn’t expect any more from a tablet this cheap, and the front-facing camera is likely to be a token addition at best.
“Is it revolutionary? No”, Rayburn said.
Today it showed off four tablets, all aggressively priced.
The online retail giant also talks up claimed “best-in-class Wi-Fi” and a roster of 3,000 channels, apps, and games. The high-end HD versions have a new industrial design that’s slimmer than current models.
“The 8″ tablet will sell for $149.99 and the 10” for $229.99.
While Apple has taken aim at the enterprise market with its new iPad Pro, Amazon sees its future in entertainment. If the kids manage to damage the tablet despite the kid-proof case, Amazon will replace it for free – no questions asked.
Have you ever forgotten to download a movie ahead of a flight? As a result, the majority of Fire TV customers will now get to experience high-quality, 1080p TV shows and movies from Amazon Video. It’s powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of storage.
