Tomsula: There’s a belief and a faith in Jarryd Hayne
Hayne served in the backup role on Monday because he was the only other running back on the active 46-man roster.

The 49ers rookie could be seen hollering at himself after fumbling his first punt return try in San Francisco’s 20-3 victory against the Minnesota Vikings at Levi’s Stadium. Hayne finished with 13 yards from four carries.
“Offensively, he settled down”, Chryst said.
While the two have not confirmed the dating rumors, we can’t deny that Dinah and Jarryd look good together.
They’re minuscule viewership numbers compared with the U.S., but Jarryd Hayne’s NFL regular-season debut with the San Francisco 49ers drew a higher television audience in Australia than the Super Bowl. “And in a lot of those situations there were young guys at the center of those mistakes”.
“He’s come leaps and bounds”, quarterback Colin Kaepernick said. “Everything he’s seeing, he’s seeing the same way I am, the coaches are and the rest of the running backs are. So it’s really a credit to his ability to pick up on things and learn a completely new thing”.
“He was ready to go [so] there wasn’t anything that needed to be said to him”, Kaepernick said.
“They’re just saying, “On to the next job, don’t worry about it, ‘ and I wasn’t worrying about it”, Hayne said”. “I was a playmaker in my old game. “I just have to move forward, obviously disappointed, yeah on ‘Monday Night Football”, what worse could have happened, you know?”
While folks back home might have panicked just a bit seeing Hayne’s mistake on the big stage, his teammates weren’t concerned. He’s coming from a totally different sport. “He’s someone that we have confidence in as far as being a running back and being a playmaker on this team”. “I think that’s a real compliment to him”. He fumbled what should have been a straightforward punt return near the 43-yard line to concede a turnover.

“It’s frustrating as hell”, special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey jr. said Thursday.
