How bad is Jason Pierre-Paul’s hand injury? Take a look
“We just don’t know”, a source told The News of the prospect of Pierre-Paul playing for the team in 2015.

The New York Giants are hoping to have JPP back soon, but the return for Jason Pierre-Paul could be a long ways off, as pictures emerged showing the defensive end missing nearly two fingers. He’s quite literally kept the injury – or at least photos of the injury – under wraps since July.
Pierre-Paul tweeted that he can’t remember that last time his index finger got him a sack. The fireworks accident changed all of that and now JPP could be out for the season if his hand injury remains an issue for the Giants. “It was presented to me as not a significant portion of the thumb… he also had a procedure done on his middle finger, a repair procedure done on his middle finger as recently as three days before he met with Giants team doctors last week”, wrote Graziano.
Pierre-Paul posted a video of himself working out on Wednesday.
“He’s missing the tip of his thumb”.
Jason Pierre-Paul tweeted Thursday that he doens’t need an index finger to sack the quarterback.
While he’s sidelined, the Giants save $871,000 in cash and cap room per game, according to ESPN.

The Giants, however, are under no obligation to put him on the field if they don’t think he’s ready, and they could rescind the franchise offer at any time and make Pierre-Paul an unrestricted free agent.
