Laurel woman dies from West Nile Virus

The Maryland Department of Agriculture will be testing mosquitoes and conducting samples near the victim’s home. It is bordered on the north by Fetzer Lane and Monet Drive; on the east by Picasso Drive; on the south by West Cypress Road; and on the west by Jordan Lane, 4th Street, and Orchard Park Drive.

So far this season, 29 people have been infected with the virus in Maryland, according to WBAL, which said that insects have tested positive for West Nile in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties.
