Quincy Jones rushed to hospital for shortness of breath

Veteran music producer Quincy Jones has been hospitalised after falling sick at his California home.

Publicist Arnold Robinson told The Associated Press in an email that Jones was hospitalized for observations out of caution after having breathing problems Thursday.

While he is best known for his work on Michael Jackson’s smash hit albums Off the Wall, Thriller and Bad, his career spans six decades in the entertainment industry. We doubt anyone was ready to lose the recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

Quincy Jones was rushed to hospital yesterday after suffering a major medical scare. Some of the singers in his service were Richard Pryor, Marvin Gaye, Sarah Vaughn and Sidney Poitier. Get well soon Mr. Jones.
