The Tokyo-based gaming studio has since followed it up with the solo title “Bloodborne”, which in many respects has the same formula featured in the “Dark Souls” series.

Dark Souls 3 will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

But the most important question for the majority of players concerns the difficulty of the new game. The game is tentatively scheduled for release in Japan on March 24, 2016, with a release in Europe and North America planned for April 2016.

The magic system in Dark Souls III is based on a more traditional system. Numerous sections of the first game in particular required constant repetition and a careful approach, and it’s good to see that the developers have put effort into preserving this quality of the franchise, even if it could limit their potential for reaching a broad audience of players. This wider array of weapons encourages gamers to develop their own unique way of playing the game. Players also expect to use the following weapons as additions to the next installment: handy bow, dual-wielded blades, and swords of various sizes.

In June, Dark Souls 3 already debuted at Microsoft’s Press Conference. During the event, the public failed to witness a gameplay. The leaked video also revealed that Dark Souls 3 will support up to four players.

The next iteration of the “Dark Souls” game will reportedly immerse gamers in a brand new artistic world (or underworld) infested with new albeit disturbing enemies.
