While there was an androgynous bent to the collection, he downplayed its significance: “At this point, I’ve sort of dealt with gender issues within my perspective and I just feel like it’s part of the DNA of the family of the brand”.
“This is a funkier collection”, she said.
“I’ve never been, so I wanted it to be my dream and fantasy of what it would be like through my idea of this woman traveling to Morocco”, Siriano said Saturday in a backstage interview before the show. For the designers, they have one chance to impress a buyer.

“She’s been around the world and back”, Chow said. Almost a decade ago, in the baby years of my career as an editor, the feelings brought on by the bi-yearly flurry were easy to identify – simple, even. There was the tiny thrill when, as a lowly fashion assistant just out of FIT, my boss handed me her unwanted invites with a dismissive shrug. I’d get turned away at the door?
