Prisoners managed to escape after throwing CHILLI powder in the eye of police

Several prisoners had managed to escape successfully by throwing chili powder in the faces of the policemen.

According the report, the police in the Jharkhand region of India were taking the prisoners back to their barrack after a court appearance – but the prisoners somehow managed chili powder and at last escaped using it.

It was explained later that most of the escaped prisoners were Maoists – and remaining were normal criminals facing different charges.

Jharkhand police spokesman said “Police have identified all the prisoners that have escaped”.

The state of India which has population of 33 million, got carved out from state of Bihar in year 2000, is holding the state election in the month itself.
