If you are chomping at the bit to play Dark Souls 3, Namco Bandai’s next challenging action RPG in the popular Dark Souls universe, then you’ll want to pay attention to this story. Today, Bandai Namco has confirmed that that game will be released in North America during April 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This will also coincide with the game’s release in Australia.

The game will also enforce a deeper sense of role-playing than its previous iterations in the series with significant additions that equips players with a set of tools and in-game options to customize their gameplay experience according to their whims.

The announcement was made prior to the Tokyo Game Show this week.

“In Dark Souls 3“, gamers must search for the newly awakened Lords of Cinder to uncover the mysteries of the game’s apocalyptic environment. Numerous sections of the first game in particular required constant repetition and a careful approach, and it’s good to see that the developers have put effort into preserving this quality of the franchise, even if it could limit their potential for reaching a broad audience of players. During the demo, Miyazaki emphasized that the game comes in cloth and ash mechanics, dynamic lighting, as well as open world.
