Waka Flocka: Caitlyn Jenner, Transgender People are ‘Rebuking God’

During the interview, Flame, real name Juaquin James Malphurs, took aim at the most prominent figure to undergo gender transitioning in recent memory: “former Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner, whose transition into “Caitlyn” Jenner sparked a now-infamous Vanity Fair cover story and a reality television series“. Waka Flocka Flame dissed Caitlyn Jenner and the transgender community this morning on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club“. “It’s like it’s not cool man, they’re not marketing that”.
Ending the rant, he said: “I ain’t got nothing against people’s preferences but putting that on TV, that’s insane “. “They’re marketing young girls, transgenders … it’s evil”. Kids are the only ones watching TV. You know adults is too busy, they trying to control life so you can’t stop your kid from trying to watch certain channels. If you in the hood right now, your rent is cheap as a (expletive).
Elsewhere in the interview, the Atlanta rapper explains why he doesn’t wear diamond jewelry anymore.

Wake Flocka Flame, the “turn up rapper” who’s become famous for his misogynistic lyrics and publicized infidelity, has some strong opinions about those who identify as transgender.

Waka says that he doesn’t see a need to prove his wealth to anyone. You follow me? While it’s true that these men and women have existed as they identify for decades, it’s new to many folks who were unaware. “Why I gotta keep buying brands that ain’t doing nothing for the people that I’m around?”
