This was the moment when two lions thought of getting a baby buffalo as their lunch but everything went wrong when mother buffalo took charge.

According to the report, two lions were chasing the herd of buffaloes when a young buffalo lost his control and fallen down.
Both lions leaped on the kid.
All of sudden – the herd stopped and few females buffalo turned back and started hitting the lion to save the baby buffalo.
Five female buffaloes were fighting with lion when suddenly from side – a bull appeared and charged the lion.
The amazing pictures were taken by the South African photographer, Jay van Rensburg, 53, at Kruger National Park.
