The Kansas City Chiefs find themselves in an unfamiliar position on Thursday Night Football against the Denver Broncos; as favorites.

This is only the third time in the last 49 games that the Broncos are not favored, so that tells you something.
The Chiefs got out of the gates strong in Week 1, jumping out to a 27-6 lead over the Houston Texans, before holding on for a 27-20 victory. Denver has won six straight meetings with the Chiefs and the Broncos have covered the spread in four of their last five against KC.

The chemistry between Manning and his receivers and O-line definitely looked off Sunday, so let’s hope it’s just growing pains to Gary Kubiak’s new style. Thus far it wouldn’t be insane to think that the Chiefs have as good of a shot as any to win the West.
This year, it already seems that Smith has a more productive arsenal of offensive weapons including Travis Kelce who was targeted for two touchdowns and 106 total yards.
