It was an embarrassing moment for the mother whose son was to eat the slices but instead discovered a ‘dead spider’ between it.

According to the report, the mother, Maxine Grizzle, was ready to prepare toast when her ten year old son discovered a dead spider between its slices.
The mother said later “He was so upset. He said, ‘Mum there’s a spider!’ and he went really green. I’m feeling sick just thinking about it”.
However, she made a complaint to the company regarding the issue.
A spokesman from the company said that they take their customer feedback very seriously – but they are waiting for the product for further investigation which has to be carried out.
