Wolves signed James Henry from Millwall in 2014, following a loan spell with the club – and Henry has gone on to make 77 appearances during his time in the Midlands, scoring 16 goals.

A whole host of Championship clubs have been chasing Wilson’s signature on loan, a group which includes Derby County, Cardiff City and Wolves.

James Henry was one of the many Wolverhampton players entering the final year of his contract this summer and with Charlton Athletic showing firm interest in signing the 26-year old; it was widely believed that the winger could have well ended up leaving Molineux.
