Alshon Jeffery questionable after missing Friday’s practice

Jeffery finished with five catches for 78 yards in the losing effort. The coaches aren’t Lovie Smith and Ken Whisenhunt anymore. “If he doesn’t go, if he does, we don’t know”.

Before #Bears started wearing wishbone-C on their helmets in 1962, Chicago Cardinals wore wishbone-C logo on their jerseys in 1920s & 30s.

While the Cardinals (1-0) won in Week 1, the Bears (0-1) were losers at home. All of those wins came during his Cincinnati Bengals playing days. However, heading into Week 2, everyone is healthy giving Jay Cutler plenty to work with.

“We’re going to get it”, Cutler said.

If the Bears can pressure Palmer and Cutler can improve in at least one facet of his game (turnovers or completion percentage), the Bears could upset the likely playoff contenders from Arizona. Forte had an easy 141 yards off 24 carries for one touchdown against the Packers.

The Bears will need their top players for this gritty matchup, but that might not be possible.

He’s officially listed as questionable after having a setback with a tight hamstring, according to coach John Fox.

It will seem to most that Arizona has the better odds here, but as they say, that’s why they play the game. And Arizona didn’t face a running back of Forte’s talent last week. He was used all over the field in Week 1 under offensive coordinator Adam Gase and will be moving forward.

The Bears credited McPhee with seven tackles against the Packers. This is the second week Kyle Long will have played right tackle, and he’ll have his hands full with talented defensive end Calais Campbell. They both held their own in that aspect of the game last week. Jeffery’s status will be updated before kickoff, but even if he plays it will be in a limited fashion. We just all have to step up.

On defense, Vic Fangio has to get more out of his unit in terms of rushing the passer. Arizona runs a more convention pro-style offense, so the Bears will be allowed to run more in its base 3-4 defense. Palmer was asked this week if he ever thought about where his career would be if Arians ended up with the Bears in 2013.

“I think still to this day some things bother me, but you can’t control a lot of these things outside”, Cutler said. Look for the Bears to have far more success on the ground than the Saints did.

Well, it appears injuries could have a huge factor in the game on Sunday between the Arizona Cardinals and Chicago Bears.
