Police Searching for Person Overboard at Niagara Falls

Police have resumed their search for a woman who plunged over Niagara Falls on Saturday evening.

State park police officers told the television station that the woman reportedly went over the falls at Prospect Point on the American side in what they called an “intentional entry”. Rescuers have been unable to rescue the woman.

Authorities, who were assisted by crews from the Maid of the Mist, also asked police in Niagara Falls, Ont., to be on the lookout.

Niagara Falls is an extremely popular tourist attraction consisting of three waterfalls on the border of Canada and the US. A witness’ you tube video curved over to actually private investigators confirmed a woman going over the threshold of one’s lies, as stated by the News.

Dozens of people are killed going over Niagara Falls each year, the vast majority of which are suicides, though they are often not publicized.
