Xiaomi Michigan 4C specs: Offers both USB Type-C and MicroUSB support

Lin Bin, who also gave a launch date of September 22, has confirmed it. Xiaomi does not yet confirm specifications, but it is expected that Xiaomi Michigan 4c will have a Full HD display of 5 inch, rear camera of 12MP, front camera of 5MP and a battery of 3080 mAh. Another Weibo post from Bin again confirmed that the Xiaomi Michigan 4c will come with dual-SIM support, something he had revealed last week as well. The phone is expected to sport Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 SoC which houses a hexa-core processor. Meanwhile, Bin alsoshared an image of the retail package of the Michigan 4c. It is also going to feature the Double Tap-Sleep option, which is already available in numerous android smart phones like Samsung and Sony. The first variant will sport 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the second model will ship with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, while the most expensive unit will come with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of in-built storage. He also confirmed that the handset will be available in a pink color variant.

According to another top-level Xiaomi executive, Lei Jun (founder), the Michigan 4C will offer comparatively better internet connectivity and faster download speeds. The smartphone will be revealed in China first, with a global release possibly following shortly after.

The Price range of Xiaomi Michigan 4c is expected to start at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 15, 500). The handset would also feature a USB Type-C port. The yet-to-be-launched Xiaomi Michigan 4c’s retail box was leaked, tipping a Snapdragon 808 processor apart from other details.

The leaks so far have tipped that the Mi 4c will be placed between the flagship Mi 4 and affordable Mi 4i smartphones.

For perspective, even the new iPhone 6S has a 5-megapixel front camera, while the iPhone 6 only has a 1.2-megapixel camera.
