Police and paramedics responded at 6:24 AM to David’s home for a report of a domestic disturbance and a woman not breathing. They found fifty-seven year-old Donna Angle unresponsive on the floor of the living room.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for David Angle, who remains held without bond in the county jail awaiting a preliminary hearing on a charge of criminal homicide.

The criminal complaint said Angle told his wife he didn’t want any vodka around but they began to argue after she continued to “badger him about drinking with her” around 3am.

County homicide detective Scott Towne stated that Angle told him all of their arguments surrounded alcohol in their home.

Kurt Angle’s manager confirmed the news, texting “Due to the situation Kurt would appreciate if you can honor his family’s request for privacy at his hard time”.

Police say her husband, 62-year-old David Angle, was responsible for her death. There has been no comment from Kurt Angle, a wrestler in TNA. This caused her to become unconscious and after he couldn’t revive her, he called 911. The former Olympian and professional wrestling legend has been arrested for driving under the influence four times between 2007 and 2013 and in two of those instances, he was convicted for related offenses. Angle has acknowledged struggling with substance abuse issues.
