One dead, two injured in early Sunday shooting in Kansas City
Jeffries, 46, was a star for the Oklahoma State basketball program more than 20 years ago. Jeffries and another member of security tried to break up the fight and remove those involved from the club.

The shooting sent two others to the hospital.
One person was shot to death and two people received minor gunshot wounds early Sunday in Kansas City.
Kansas City Police Chief Darryl Forte said investigators got help from numerous witnesses at the scene, but they have not announced any arrests.
Police say there was a disturbance at the bar and employees were getting people outside when the suspect started shooting. The other victim was transported with non-life-threatening injuries to an area hospital.
