Trump’s insult of Fiorina fuels bipartisan backlash

Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?”. Given the histrionics in which Huckabee’s engaged while rising up to the challenge of his rivals this week, it’s unclear what more O’Reilly can reasonably expect from him or the remaining non-Trump contingent of the Republican field.

“The top 10 candidates overall – plus Fiorina, whose average support places her within the top 10 in polls conducted after the first debate held August 6 – have all qualified for the 8:00 p.m. debate next Wednesday in Simi Valley”, CNN Polling Director Jennifer Agiesta wrote.

“I think Donald Trump is an entertainer”.

Trump was furious at Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly for asking about his history of insulting comments aimed at women.

The real estate mogul’s odds for the game were at 23 percent before he said that Fiorina’s looks would make her unelectable.

Fiorina brushed the comments off and on Saturday told a crowd of Republican women in Scottsdale, Arizona, “Ladies, look at this face”. The magazine quoted Trump as saying of the former technology executive: “Look at that face!” While she said she had “no idea” what Trump really meant, “maybe, just maybe, I’m getting under his skin a little bit, because I am climbing in the polls”. “Are we serious?” Trump questioned.

Later in the interview, Paul unfavorably compared Trump to Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who suspended his presidential bid Friday.

Trump was asked about that comment by CNN’s Chris Cuomo and he insisted, “I’m not talking about looks”. The presidency also requires character and temperament and judgment and discipline. “That’s a very big part of who I am – humility and fear of the Lord. And so I think most people are tuning in because they actually want to know what candidates are going to do”. The only candidate that topped Trump in searches was Gov. Scott Walker in his home state of Wisconsin. Fiorina has also proved to be a salient attack dog against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. “But Trump doesn’t need any more attention since everybody knows him“.

“I am a man of faith”, he said. There were a lot of people in the media who immediately seized upon it and said, this is an attack. “And I think I am a leader”, she told reporters after speaking to a crowd at the Strafford County BBQ & Beer Bash in Dover, New Hampshire. “And I’m certainly not going to get into that”. Among likely Republican Caucus voters in Iowa, 27 percent say they supported the former reality TV star, compared with 21 percent for neuroscientist Ben Carson, the No. 2 candidate.
