As far as gameplay goes, the core gameplay mechanics from the Tomb Raider reboot will carry over.

In other news, according to Major Nelson, we now know what will be included in the Rise of the Tomb Raider Collector’s Edition. You’ll scavenge for various materials to create traps, healing items, grenades and more. This spawned from a leaked image of Xbox Magazine, with a quote saying “With multiplayer cut from the experience, Crystal Dynamics needed to make this core campaign as entertaining as possible”. There’s also considerably more tomb raiding, which fans felt was missing from the last game.

There is one feature that is reportedly getting axed. The game looks a lot like Assassins Creed Black Flag in the way Lara moves and jumps tree to tree to me.
