The Catalan newspaper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Walcott is one of a number of players Barca have been scouting and they could step up their interest following an injury to Rafinha during the Champions League clash with Roma on Wednesday.

After Pedro’s departure and the injury sustained by Rafinha – who will be out for six months – Barcelona only have young starlets to rotate their famous attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez with.
“Barça can register a substitute for Rafinha”.
“FIFA sanctioned Barcelona for two transfer windows, last winter and this summer, and they’ve since passed,” he told Sport.
