Eva Carneiro leaves Chelsea in the wake of Mourinho touchline row
It has been claimed that Carneiro, the doctor at the centre of a public row with Jose Mourinho last month, is to leave the club.

Carneiro was due to return for work last Friday having been told she was no longer to attend training sessions, matches or enter the team hotel after provoking Mourinho’s anger when she and the physiotherapist, Jon Fearn, ran on to treat Eden Hazard during injury-time of the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on 8 August.
And it’s being reported by the Daily Mail that the now-former Blues first team doctor has left the club with which she worked for six years.
Mourinho said: “They were impulsive and naive”.
Eva Carneiro has reportedly parted company with Chelsea, who are now facing an expensive legal battle.
Rabbatts, the FA’s only female board member, has been vocal in her support of Carneiro, whom she said acted “properly”.
Carneiro had her role significantly reduced in the wake of the affair. Any other response would have been a dereliction of her duty and a breach of GMC guidelines as confirmed recently by the organisation of Premier League doctors.
Carneiro was subjected to severe public criticism by Mourinho after the game as well.
Carneiro was also the victim of sexist abuse from opposing fans last season.
She may sue for constructive dismissal and get a big pay out with Chelsea unlikely to want to take the case to court.
“Her departure raises a serious question on how players are safeguarded if their medical support is compromised”, said Rabbatts.

“I hope that Eva’s own situation can be resolved quickly and positively and that she will be able to continue to work in a senior position within the game”.
