Police had originally put out a missing persons alert for the two before issuing a Canada-wide warrant for McMahon’s arrest.

Winnipeg police had announced late Saturday that they were looking for the mother on the charge of abduction.
Tristan is described as white, five-foot-three, with a medium to heavy build, blue eyes and short brown hair.
“Charlotte is white, 5’4” tall, 120 pounds, multiple tattoos and red, shoulder-length hair. She may be wearing a brown jacket, black tights and dark shoes.
Investigators say McMahon is known to have connections in Western Canada.
Police said the pair were found safe in Manitoba but would not provide any further details. She remains in custody. According to his family, they are only concerned about Tristan’s wellbeing because his mother suffers from a mental illness and has not been taking her medication.
