“From the jackets with the hoodies, to the lace, to the gold details on the shoes”. It might sound like a cacophony – but in true Anderson style, he made it work.

They covered dresses made of lace, one of Bailey’s favoured fabrics that he used extensively during the most recent men’s collection in June. We loved the adapted classic Burberry trench coat which had a mesh middle and macrame lace on the sides.
“It’s not so much about the trend, it’s more about an emotion and an attitude”, he explained to the press.
London’s designers toyed with the idea of a British summer presenting a mixture of sheer lace dresses, furry stoles and raincoats, whilst moving their collections away from traditional seasons to reflect global demand for their clothes. With shiny, flowing locks and pretty, shimmery brown shadow, Delevingne looked every inch the stunner she is. Despite it being a spring/summer collection, there was a more wintry feel to it with coats, cashmere and a darker colour palette.
The soft-cut designs, which included jumpsuits and a transparent coat with black bands, were conceived with comfort in mind, giving both freedom of movement and of expression.
He continued: “I was also wary about stepping into the limelight and the populist role like Sherlock Holmes”.
“I was particularly influenced by female dancers and artists who had such lovely strong bodies, who moved in a very liquid way”, she added.
London Fashion Week got into full swing Monday with a lineup of all the big names – Burberry’s glamorous runway show drew stars from Benedict Cumberbatch to Sienna Miller, while fashion favorites Erdem and Christopher Kane impresssed with their signature designs.
But it was Moyet who received the cheers backstage.

The show finished with a series of beautifully crafted, nearly couture-like gowns and structured evening dresses. The designer presented a monochromatic collection accessorised with lots of volume.
