A civil servant in India finally got sacked as he was failing to come to job since twenty four years.

According to the report, an Indian engineer, A K Verma¸ had not turned up to work for 24 years and he’s now got sacked.
It was said that Mr. A K Verma had visited for work in the year 1990 for the last time.
It took two years for suspending him and since then the inquiry was launched which completed in December 2014 and he got finally dismissed – and the result came finally after the intervention of a government cabinet minister under the Narendra Modi’s government.
India’s labor laws, which the World Bank says are the most restrictive anywhere, make it hard to dismiss staff for any reason other than criminal misconduct.
