According to Us Weekly, “Jane the Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez and boyfriend Henri Esteve have called it quits after dating for a little more than a year.
“When your super-tough Cuban boyfriend from Miami starts tearing up, you’re like, ‘I’m doing something right”, she said about Esteve’s reaction to her work on Jane the Virgin. Rodriguez fueled the rumor of their breakup when she attended the 2015 Emmy Awards alone.
‘They are still friends and very realistic about relationships’. It’s always been you.
The pair were together about one year before the split.
It was only this past June that Gina gushed about her ex in a sweet (although since deleted) Instagram post. Happy anniversary my love.
Rodriguez took a Best Actress Golden Globe award in January for her performance, delivering an emotional acceptance speech that referenced her father Genaro’s advice to wake up each morning and say, “I can and I will”.
