It’s not going to be easy for Sheldon, who was revealed to have a ring in the final moments of the Season 8 finale of The Big Bang Theory, as he doesn’t know how to fix what’s wrong in his relationship.

Instead of focusing on working on the issues that led Amy to break up with him, Sheldon will disregard her request for space and relentlessly pursue her.
“Chuck and I had a long talk about [revealing the wedding before the premiere] and my fear was that it was going to start sounding like they didn’t [get married]”, Molaro told the outlet.
Fans can’t wait for “The Big Bang Theory” season 9 so they can find out what’s going to happen next to Sheldon and Amy.
This is all new to her and this is as hard for her as it is for him.
His thought processes can get pretty misguided in that that he thinks, “Oh, this will make her jealous and make her like me again”, but that will only make her furious.
Molaro teased that Sheldon will not be taking the break-up lightly and as a man of science, he got very frustrated because he cannot think of any solution to get Amy back in his arms, global Business Times reported.
Throughout the run of “The Big Bang Theory” the past several years, Sheldon and Amy have had a largely-stable relationship despite some of their obvious problems. After all, they’re both friends with the same people, and according to Bialik, “a lot of the comedy” in the premiere comes from the fact that in situations like this, “people have to take sides and people have to lend support”.
Of course, with Amy not around, Sheldon will stick closer to Leonard more than ever. When the smoke clears at the end of the first episode, Penny and Leonard will be in a long-term relationship that will shape the rest of the season. We’ve got so many other plates spinning right now that that’s not one of the focuses early on in the season. It’s a little bit of a divorce, and it’s something that the group is feeling their way through. After all, who could forget when Penny gave Sheldon a signed napkin from him as a Christmas gift?

What about Howard and Bernadette? “I think when you’re Penny, and you have an image that you’ve cultivated of a person for eight years now and those two things aren’t aligning anymore – that can be a hard thing to deal with”.
