The latest polls show Fiorina’s popularity among Republicans has spiked after her performance at the second GOP debates.

But she showed off a lighter side on Monday night during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”. There, the shot was closer, the host’s face nearer: less need for armor or artillery. “Mind you, he’s never stepped into the arena as a CEO himself or even run a business”. Why, that she can do, too.
She described Putin as “a formidable adversary”, who was “bursting out of the buttons of his shirt”, but could be “quite amusing and charming”.
By far, the candidate receiving the biggest boost from last week’s Republican Presidential Candidates Debate is Carly Forina. That happy hour debate gave me the first opportunity.

Fallon did briefly venture into less comfortable territory.

A CNN/ORC national poll released Sunday showed Fiorina rocketing to second place in the race after the debate.
Trump would later say that he was speaking about Fiorina’s “persona” rather than physical attributes.
To which Fallon offered, “Okay, there ya go, that’s your answer”.
The pushback against Dr. Ben Carson’s comments about a potential Muslim president has made its way to late night television.
