Xiaomi Michigan 4c Has Been Officially Launched
Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch the new Michigan Pad 2, its Windows 10 tablet, on September 22 at a launch initially believed to be exclusive for the mid-range smartphone Michigan 4c. It’s a similar display to the one on the Xiaomi Mi4i and Mi4 in India. The Michigan 4C will also have double tap to wake screen feature and sleep apart from coming in a pick color variant. One of the notable differences in the Michigan 4c is that it supports 4G LTE on both SIMs and also comes with USB Type-C connector. A micro-USB to Type-C adapter is also sold separately for ¥5 (~0.8$), which will make the transition process to a new port become less of a hassle and inconvenience for early adopters.

The phone does bundle some interesting capabilities, like the so-called “Edge Tap” feature, which will allow the device to respond to light taps on either side.
Measuring 7.8mm and weighing in at 132g (which is 11g less than the iPhone 6s), the device packs in a 3080mAh battery, supports Quick Charge 2.0, and features a USB Type-C port having a reversible design. Pricing will be set at ¥1,299 ($204 USD) for the 2GB/16GB model and ¥1,499 ($235 USD) for the 3GB/32GB version. The phone runs on Android but as the key with Xiaomi’s devices is the MiUI software customisation.
This is all about Xiaomi Michigan 4c specifications, price, features, etc. for now.
Around back of the Michigan 4c is a 13-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX258/Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL sensor, two-tone flash, and phase detection autofocus. Finally, the Michigan 4c can serve as a universal infrared remote control.

Here’s how that works: tap the edge of the phone once to quickly take a selfie with the 5MP front-facing camera. The 32GB variant comes with 2GB RAM, but users can expect a 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM. “Available in gold, blue and pink, Michigan Bluetooth Speaker boasts impressive sound quality with volume up to 90dB(A) @0.5m, a built-in bass radiator, neodymium magnets and a Avnera AV3102 chip for a cleaner sound”.
